The Example of Speech Text about Education

1. The Importance of Studying

Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Excellency Mr/Mrs..
Honorable Mr/Mrs..
Respectable Mr/Mrs..
Ladies and gentlemen dear brothers and sisters

Firstly, let’s thank to Allah SWT who has been giving us some mercies and blessing until we can attend in this happy place without any troubles and obstacles.

Secondly, my sholawat and salam always be given to our prophet Muhammad SAW who has guided us from the darkness to the lightness, from stupidly era to the cleverness.

Thirdly, I don’t forget to say thank you very much to the master of ceremony who has given me a little time to speech in front of you all.

Ladies and gentlemen, in this good chance, I would like to give my speech under the title The Importance of Studying.

Pursuing knowledge is important for us, as Allah said in Surah Al Mujadalah verse 11, which means “O you who believe, when you are told to make room in your gatherings, then make room; Allah will give you abundance. And when you are told to rise, then rise; Allah will raise in ranks those who believed from among you and those who are given knowledge. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.”

In the verse in Al Mujadalah’s letter, it is explained that the priority of people who voluntarily seek knowledge, whether it is worldly knowledge or the knowledge of the afterlife.

Why does Allah give many benefits and priorities to His servants by studying? This is because by studying, we will not be blind. The meaning of blindness here is that we are able to see things from different points of view, so that our minds will always be clear and wise when we make decisions.

For example, from childhood we are sent to school by our parents, so that we have the ability to read, count, write, and even study various academic sciences in mathematics, biology, physics and so on.

Brothers and sisters..
From the many things we learn, which is the most important?

Yap, it’s true that religious knowledge is the most important thing for our provisions, and happiness in this world and the hereafter. Even though religious knowledge is the most important, we should not ignore other general knowledge, getting the knowledge that we all learn from school, the insights we have become more diverse. Starting from physics, we learn that water can change form, through mathematics subjects, we have the ability to calculate.

Well, if we just keep quiet and don’t want to seek knowledge, then we will be stuck from seeing everything.

That is the priority of studying and the benefits that humans can obtain. God gave every human and animal a brain, but what differentiates humans and animals is mind. Humans have mind, therefore, as humans and obedient servants, we need to use and care for what God has given us, by demanding and providing nutrition in the form of broad knowledge and insight. So, we will all become human beings who are intelligent and knowledgeable and not careless in our actions.

That’s all from me. Hopefully it will be useful for us.
Thank you very much for your nice attention. I do apologize for every single mistake that I did.

Wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

Ladies and gentlemen, in this good chance, I would like to give my speech under the title The Importance of Education.

We as students must be able to feel that education is important, how could it be?

Ok, let’s understand what education is. Education is a learning process to increase knowledge.

Education is not only the process of providing knowledge from educators to students, but education has the goal of producing an intelligent generation of the nation.

Who is the nation’s generation? That is us, we are part of the nation’s generation. Teenagers, young people, elementary school students like me, even newborn babies are the generation that must receive a good education.

Therefore, those of us who are still given the opportunity to study either at home or at school, with parents, teachers, or people in the surrounding environment, should be grateful and always enthusiastic about achieving our goals because there are still many of our friends around us, out there who have difficulty getting an education or we can even see how our brothers and sisters in Palestine cannot live in peace, even they can’t study without worrying about the threat of firearms from Israel.

Let’s be enthusiastic, enthusiastic, and continue to be enthusiastic about learning with whoever and wherever we are. Having a higher education will make it easier for us to achieve our goals. What goals do you want to achieve?
Do you want to be a doctor? engineer? police? president? pilot? Everything can be achieved if we are diligent in learning. Education is also a way to end poverty because sufficient education makes people more educated, easier to get information and smarter. It gives educated people wider opportunities in many ways so that their welfare is also better than people who are not educated.

Brothers and sisters

Remembering the importance of education for life, let’s prepare ourselves to achieve the highest possible education so that we can achieve our dreams and make our parents, religion, nation and state proud of us.

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” -Nelson Mandela

That’s all from me. Hopefully it will be useful for us.
Thank you very much for your nice attention. I do apologize for every single mistake that I did.

Wassalamu’alaikum warrahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
